Sketchbook Practice: Bridgman Figure Study ep.11 | Draw With Me | Pen an...

Let’s practice drawing with pen and ink. Today I’m working on “Building the Figure” (pgs. 57-61) from Bridgman’s “Complete Guide to Drawing From Life.” In this chapter, Bridgman describes how to make a model made from lath and wire. As he describes how to make the model, he talks about the anatomy in relation to how the body parts move. Drawing from this model can help us understand how the body masses twist and turn. It was really fun drawing these. I want to make my own model soon and revisit this chapter. Thanks for drawing with me! If you want to keep practicing, check out the other Draw With Me videos in this playlist.
